Things are changing here.
New name. New owners. New furnishings. But the key things will remain: a warm genuine welcome to all plus the best of traditional Irish hospitality.
The hotel is closing temporarily, reopening fully next Spring as we carry out our programme of room upgrades and a complete refurbishment of our restaurants, bars and event spaces.
The Londonderry Arms is now the Harbourview Hotel, and a new chapter is beginning. We look forward to seeing you here.
Our Rooms
We are completely revamping all of the Harbourview’s rooms, prior to our full reopening in the Spring. However, you can reserve rooms right now from March 2025 all the way to February 2026.

Grain to glass
The Harbourview is Ireland’s first destination whiskey hotel, where we celebrate uisce beatha in all its forms,
from grain to glass.
At the heart of this is our Whiskey Kin. Whether you’re just curious or a serious connoisseur, you’ll find plenty to interest you here, from talks and workshops to special events and of course, tastings.
Bar
The hotel is still the perfect place to relax over
a quiet drink with friends. Now of course we have added a wide range of whiskeys (and whiskies) and cocktails to our menu.
Exclusive Hire
It’s all happening at the Harbourview, following our refurbishment we will offer exclusive use of the Hotel for family or corporate events. Please get in touch should you be planning an event.
